National Weather Warns of "Derecho" Event in the Delaware, Maryland area.
Just an hour ago, the National Weather Service in Newark warned of a low pressure causing a severe wind event across the Mid-Atlantic, a Derecho.

Quote:"a line of intense, widespread, and fast-moving windstorms and sometimes thunderstorms that moves across a great distance and is characterized by damaging winds."

The expect severe storms to fire up across the Odessa countryside, and move NE towards Harriston and Burlington, two very populated areas, citizens in these areas:

Odessa, Bordenville, Westover Islands, Cape Ann, Bethany Beach, South Beach, Harriston Metropolitan Area, Burlington Metropolitan Area, shall feel the effects of this low tracking through Appalachia.

This same storm caused a EF-2 tornado to touch down in Northern Alabama.
