Personal family trips
#1
Post about some trips you remember taking when you were younger. I don't really care.

As for me, I'll post trips my family has went on over the years. Trips before 2004 are ones that I learned from my parents. Trips after 2004 mostly include me, and I'll have better memory of them. I'm only listing trips that either me or my parents have done.

(posted chronologically)
1976 (Dad): World trip (China, Japan, Italy, United States. etc.)
1977 (Dad): Another world trip (probably to more European/North American countries)
~1980 (Mom): Trip to Baguio
1985 (Mom): Saudi Arabia (lived for 5 years, left in 1990-1991)
1983-1987 (Dad): Traveling around the Philippines
1985/1986 (Dad): Iloilo (had an accident there)
1988 (Dad): Dearborn, Michigan (college, graduated in 1992; left January-February 1992)
1989 (Dad): San Francisco
1990 (Aunt): Flagstaff/Phoenix
1991/1992 (Dad): Asia trip (Singapore, Bangkok)
1992 (Dad): New York City/Washington DC
1994 (Mom and Dad): Baguio (honeymoon)
1994 (Aunt): Southern Iowa
1995 (Dad): Hong Kong Film Festival
2000/2001 (Family): Cebu
2004/2005 (Family): Myrtle Beach
2006 (Family): The Netherlands (The Hague, Rotterdam, Amsterdam)
2007-present (Family, usually): Trips to DC; 2007/2008 was the first year of doing this
2008 (Family): NYC Trip #1 (citizenship stuff)
2009 (Family): NYC Trip #2 (something about film)
2009 (Dad): Vancouver BC (film festival)
2010 (Family): NYC Trip #3
2013 (Family): Philadelphia
2014 (Family): Pittsburgh
2016 (Family): Richmond
2017 (Family): Nashville (eclipse)
2018 (Me, Mom, and Dad): Cedar Point, Detroit, Toronto, Niagara Falls (possibly Buffalo)

EDIT (5/19/18): Added Netherlands trip, along with more trips from the 90s.
That gum you like is going to come back in style.

Last Sunday me and my Mom & Dad tried going to my Dad's hometown. When we were about to go, we found out there was a nail in the tire. Not only that, but we also found out the antifreeze was literally filled to the cap, causing the cap to crack and the antifreeze leak. They got it towed to the shop; they couldn't really drive it with the antifreeze issue.

That was a family trip gone wrong.

Every 15 Minutes, someone is killed in an alcohol-related traffic incident. Today I never got the chance to say goodbye.

I live in Texas and I may drive down the scariest of all farm to market routes - 666! It is near Corpus Christi.
A guy named Sapotinno906 on ROBLOX who has 6500+ miles.

Also a guy who is impatiently waiting for the Swagdad and Cape Ann map.
