ShieldsUp
#1
Information
Recently this year, i started to make my state route shields with this site called Shieldsup! Its reliable and pretty useful if your trying to make a state route system, the only downside is it does not go on decal interstate or route shields, instead it only goes on cutout shields. For example, the cutout ones ( non decal ones) made by TTP work well with this!

I tried to generate a few AK state routes and they looked horrible

sign making still wins i guess

(edit: Oh and they're missing a few sign types for my state)

I generated one for nebraska and it looks terrible. I have made better shields in inkscape.

I actually agree with you. Some shields on that site don't look correct. I compared the one of a interstate spur i made in inkscape and the one in shieldsup.

Left: Inkscape
Right: Shieldsup

If you acquire enough skill you can do a lot with making signs in inkscape. That does include making shields. As for making them in inkscape, you can duplicate the entire shield and change the text if you need two different routes to put on signs or BGSes.
